These are the terms for riding with us and joining our retreats. They are short because our promises are simple.

Rides and lessons

Horseback riding carries inherent risk. We keep groups small (one to four riders), match horses to experience, and guide every ride, and you agree to follow your guide's instructions on the trail. Guests sign a standard liability release at the ranch before riding. Please tell us in advance about anything that affects your riding: injuries, pregnancy, or health conditions.

Rides are paid at the ranch in pesos or by the methods we confirm when you book. If the weather turns dangerous, we reschedule, no charge.

Retreats and journeys

Retreats and Spirit Horse Journeys run only on set dates. Deposits reserve your place and are non-refundable. For the six-day retreat, cancellations made 30 or more days before the start may transfer to a future retreat, subject to availability; cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable unless your place is filled. The balance is due 30 days before the retreat.
